SPU has a superb student community. But for that to continue, a strong ASSP must carry the banner forward through the school year of 2008-2009. Many previous officers have led competently and well, and I believe the ASSP has even more potential to grow.

I, Kevin McFarland, am running for Executive Vice President with the intent of leading the growth of the ASSP. My passion is serving students and empowering the student voice. My background consists of forming a high school student government and other student lead groups as well as serving on the student government of the third largest college in Washington State. With this, I believe I bring the necessary experience and abilities to further shape ASSP in continuing SPU's tradition of a powerful student community.
